What do I do if I have a expired ID or no ID at all?

If you are unable to provide one of these ID cards. You may be identified on the oath or affirmation of a credible identifying witness who has their own approved ID card. Credible Identifying witnesses must have personal knowledge of your identity, believe it is not reasonable for you to obtain the approved ID, and be honest, aware and impartial.

For our appointment you will need the following.

Have your documentation completely filled out. Only the signature lines remain blank. You must sign documents in front of the notary.

Bring your current valid ID.

Ensure the name on the document matches your ID.

Types of Notarizations:

Arizona allows Notaries to perform Acknowledgements, Jurats, Copy Certifications, Oaths and Affirmations

Acknowledgements

To ensure that the signer of the document is who they claim to be and has voluntarily signed the document.

Jurats

The signer of the document swears of affirms the contents are true.

Copy Certificates

Confirms a copy of the original document is a true, full and accurate reproduction of the original document.

Oath and Affirmations

A client may simply need to administer an oath or affirmation orally, rather than as part of a jurat, affidavit or other written document. The purpose of administering a verbal oath or affirmation is to compel a client to truthfulness.
An Oath is a solemn pledge to a supreme Being. An affirmation is a solemn pledge of the individual’s personal honor.
